Assembly: Easy to mount with the included screws and dowels or with mounting tape. Arrange the 9 Trametes as they would naturally grow on a tree trunk – the large Trametes in the center, with the smaller ones around it.

What does your Trametes
Mushroom Wall Shelf Bundle consist of?

All 9 mushrooms in your Trametes bundle are made from PLA (polylactide) – a bioplastic derived from corn starch. Unlike conventional petroleum-based plastics, PLA has a significantly smaller carbon footprint. Good for your home, better for our planet.

What's special about our process:

• Each of the 9 mushrooms is 3D printed in our own manufactory in Heidelberg – not a mass-produced item, but genuine craftsmanship from Germany
• The Trametes shapes are based on a 3D scan of a rare Trametes Pubescens find – a true natural model for every set
• After printing, each piece is hand-sanded and quality-checked
• PLA is robust and durable – your Trametes bundle will accompany you for years
• Easy to care for: Simply wipe with a damp cloth

Note: PLA is splash-proof but not suitable for wet rooms (bathroom) or outdoor use. Do not expose to water above 60 °C.

Assembly – It's that easy:

Lay out the 9 fungi on the floor as a trial to find your desired arrangement. Mark the positions on the wall – start with the large Trametes (L) as the center.

M and L Fungi: Attach with screws (recommended for maximum stability)

1. Drill two holes per fungus and insert the wall plugs
2. Screw on the invisible mounts
3. Place the Trametes fungi onto the mounts – done!

S and XS Fungi: Attach with mounting tape (no drilling required!)

1. Apply the included mounting tape to the back of each mount
2. Press the mount firmly into the desired position and let it dry for 24 hours
3. Attach the fungi – done!

The small and extra small Trametes are so light that the mounting tape holds them securely – no drilling required. This means you only need 2 holes for the L fungus and 2 for the M fungus, and the remaining 7 fungi can be mounted on the wall completely without drilling.

Time required: approx. 15–20 minutes for all 9 fungi.

Want to mount them completely without drilling? No problem – simply use strong mounting adhesive (e.g., Pattex, not included) for the M and L fungi. Press firmly and let dry for 24 hours. Ideal for rental apartments!

Pro Tip: Arrange the fungi like a natural mushroom landscape on a tree trunk – the large Trametes (L) slightly above the center, the medium one next to it, the small ones (S) as a transition, and the XS fungi as fine details in the gaps. The result: A lively mushroom wall that looks like the fungi are growing directly out of your wall!

How much weight can each shelf hold?

More than you think! Depending on the size:

• Size XS: up to approx. 1 kg – perfect for small decorative objects, candles, or succulents
• Size S: up to approx. 2 kg – ideal for single plants, picture frames, or scented candles
• Size M: up to approx. 5 kg – holds books, larger plants, and decorative arrangements
• Size L: up to approx. 8 kg – even heavy stacks of books or large plant pots

The M and L mushrooms are attached with screws and wall plugs and hold rock solid. The S and XS mushrooms come with mounting adhesive tape – no drilling required, yet secure hold.

How do I attach the Trametes set to the wall?

Easier than you think! The set combines two mounting types:

The M and L mushrooms are attached with screws: hold the bracket to the wall as a template, drill two holes, insert wall plugs, screw the bracket tight, slide the mushroom on – done. Only 4 holes for the two large mushrooms.

The S and XS mushrooms (7 pieces) come with included mounting adhesive tape for wall attachment – no drilling required. Apply adhesive tape to the back of the bracket, press firmly, let dry for 24 hours, slide the mushroom on. Time required for all 9 mushrooms: approx. 15–20 minutes.

What exactly do I get delivered?

You get everything you need for mounting:

You only need a drill for the 2 large mushrooms – the 7 small ones attach to the wall completely without drilling.

Can I hang the set completely without drilling?

The S and XS mushrooms (7 out of 9 pieces) already come with mounting adhesive tape – they are immediately drill-hole-free. For the two larger mushrooms (M and L), we recommend screw mounting for maximum stability, but you can alternatively use strong mounting adhesive (e.g., Pattex, not included). Press firmly and let dry for 24 hours. This way, the complete 9-piece set hangs without a single drill hole – ideal for rented apartments!
