Does the Nuvia lampshade fit my existing lamp?
Yes, the Nuvia lampshade fits any standard E27 pendant lamp holder with a screw ring! If you don't have one yet – no problem: A HEMMA lamp holder (IKEA compatible) with cable and ceiling mount is included. So all you need is an LED bulb (E27, max. 15W) and you're ready to go. Installation takes just 2 minutes – plug it in, tighten the screw ring, done!
Which light bulb is best suited for the Nuvia lampshade?
We recommend a warm white LED bulb with an E27 base and a maximum of 15 watts. For cozy, warm light, choose 2700K – this will bring out the gentle curved shadow lines beautifully. For more neutral light (e.g., in the kitchen), 4000K is suitable. Tip: A dimmable LED bulb gives you full control over the mood – from dinner ambiance to task lighting! Important: Only use LED bulbs! Incandescent and halogen lamps generate too much heat for the PLA material.
In what colors is the Nuvia lampshade available?
The Nuvia is our most versatile lampshade and is available in 7 colors: Terracotta for earthy warmth, Pink for feminine charm, Orange for bold accents, Grey for Nordic coolness, Green for natural freshness, White for timeless elegance, and Yellow for a sunny mood. All colors are available in both sizes (L and XL) – resulting in 14 possible combinations! Tip: Hang two different colors next to each other for a creative color contrast.
How does the Nuvia differ from the other Roomberry lampshades?
Each Roomberry lampshade has its own character: The Nuvia impresses with its elegantly curved, organic shape – a versatile all-rounder that suits Scandi, Japandi, Modern, and Boho styles. It is also the only lampshade available in 7 colors! The Ripple features elegant ribs, the Wave dynamic wavy lines, and the Bubble organic bubbles. In short: Nuvia = elegantly versatile, Ripple = timelessly ribbed, Wave = dynamically flowing, Bubble = organically playful.
What material is the Nuvia lampshade made of and how do I care for it?
The Nuvia lampshade is made from PLA (polylactide) – a sustainable bioplastic derived from cornstarch. PLA is lightweight, robust, and durable. Care is incredibly simple: Occasionally dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth – that's it! No special cleaning agents are needed. The only limitation: Do not use in wet rooms or outdoors, and do not heat above 60°C (which is why only LED bulbs should be used!).
